Not having access to Westlaw makes legal-research-for-fun much less fun.

Can you get to either Westlaw or Lexis through the university library with your school ID? Westlaw and Lexis shut down your specific law student account when you graduate, but the university library often has access to one or both databases that you might be able to access online.

Aha! I remember when I lost access to Lexis Nexis, it sucked. I forgot there was even a Westlaw. University libraries' version of Lexis Nexis is often missing a bunch of services, IIRC.

The library made us log in under our West names, but who knows? I'm actually ok just making the law up as I go, since I have no educational or occupational use for it at the moment.

(just made myself sad oops)
